One of the best bottles we've shared.
It's no Charles Shaw, but a very nice Cab, nonetheless
Rich thought this was too sweet, but this Pinot was perfectly suited to its purpose.
A slightly tart but smooth cab.
A wonderfully drinkable red that came at an unbeatable price.
An absolutely wonderful Shiraz, despite the screwy top!
These guys just know how to make wine.
The reserve bottle of my favorite Shiraz
A wine so nice, we had it twice...or three times...or four...
One year later, and another success from this wonderful winery.
This is an absolutely beautiful Shiraz. It contains no hint of ...tanium whatsoever.
I'm not overly wild about blends, but this one is pretty nice.
A charming Shiraz/Cabernet blend
An inexpensive but great bottle from California
Profound bouquet, and wonderful flavor.
A wonderful (and tasty) gift from our friend Martin!
A delicious Australian Shiraz
A nice cab with a hilarious fire-breathing bear on its label
A wonderful offering from the hills and valleys of Chile.
This pulled a WS rating of 90 and a Top 100 of 2005 - nice!
John's birthday gift from Rich - a wonderfully dry cab
I've come to appreciate the Australian Shiraz, and this (preferably the 2001 vintage) is one I could drink every day.
An excellent Cab from Washington State's wine country with an oddly familiar character on its label
A wonderful bottle of wine from Argentina, and possibly the bargain of the year! Rich found this highly rated (~91 points) wine for a very good price.
A nice little Shiraz from one of Australia's largest producers.
Apparently there's a rumor that this wine maker is also involved in the film industry.
It looks like Washington is producing some fine wines.
A decent Cabernet produced in Australia
This one was so good, it got our highest rating. Because we drank the whole thing quickly, we soon forgot to continue with the rating system.
From California's Napa Valley, Mondavi wines can be found anywhere and are usually outstanding.
This was a special bottle that disappeared quickly.
An organic blend of Syrah and Grenache from California. For some odd reason we're finding that organic wines are not exactly reliable, but worth trying if you can find a good one.
Not the best example of what NY has to offer, but it does call itself a 'Table Wine'. This didn't even have a vintage.
One of the few organic wines we've sampled
Another selection from the New York wine country
Something Rich picked up on his travels - a nice bottle produced at the Biltmore Estate
A decent Cabernet produced in the New York Fingerlakes region
Excellent choice, featured on our first official show.
