I had another quality Gluten-Free product. That's twice in one week, folks! A few days ago I wrote about drinking REAL Gluten-Free beer, well today, for lunch, I had real Gluten-Free PIZZA. There is a local pizzeria actually making a gluten free pizza at their restaurant. The restaurant is called New York, Pizza and Deli. NYPD... get it? And it has a real law enforcement theme. Lots of law enforcement decorations, and even a private jail-cell room that the kids can eat in.
I gave the owner, Nick, the Third-Degree (get it!?) about his pizza-making process, and I am convinced it's safe, so I bought a pie, and brought it to a friend's place for lunch.
His is the only pizzeria that I've encountered that actually MAKES Gluten-Free pizza safely, within the confines of his restaurant, so I'm psyched. I can buy gluten-free pizzas frozen, in my whole-foods store, but sometimes I want the real thing. The pricing is fair, also, so if you're in central NY, and want a gluten-free pizza, click on the above link and give them a visit.
