This bit of news made me sad and nostalgic.  When I was a kid we used to have stuff like Mr. Wizard and Schoolhouse Rock on TV mixed in with our Saturday morning cartoons.  Sure, it wasn't hard science, but at least it was semi-educational...and fun.
