Apple Supports Windows
posted by John @ 1:33 PM

Normally, we're not a tech-centric blog/podcast but this news story marks a significant milestone in the history of the computer biz.  Today, Apple released a boot manager that enables their new line of Intel-based Macs to run Windows XP side-by-side.  Even more significantly, they announced that this utility will be part of their upcoming release of their operating system codenamed "Leopard".  (Word of advice:  never name a product something that sounds like "Leper" if spoken quickly.)  I've been toying with the idea of buying a Mac, and this was the last straw.

Read the press release!

In other news, peace has spontaneously broken out in the Middle East, all US troops have been withdrawn from Iraq, Ireland has gained independence from the UK, cancer has been cured, and the official work day has been shortened to 1 hour.
