first of all, i wanted to let you know that i served one of the wines you had during a previous show (Rosemount Shiraz) during a dinner party i hosted last friday and everyone loved it ! i am not able to drink at this time, but as soon as i do i am going to try the one you mentioned in this show... which was awesome by the way !
i was just discussing product advertising in movies with my friends on friday. it is so blunt and almost 'out of place' sometimes.
great music ! i loved both songs. the girl from Rattlebasket has an awesome voice !
til next week... keep rockin'

Yes, Rosemount Shiraz is my favorite. It's not too expensive and is consistently great. In case you're into that kind of thing, it also gets excellent marks from Wine Spectator. I don't know the exact number, but I believe it's in the mid 80s.

The mid 80's. That puts me in the mind of Haircut 100, A Flock Of Seagulls, Tom Petty with funny hats, Men At Work, etc...

Ah yes, the '80s. Ronal Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, Ollie North, Michael Milken, Alex P. Keaton and a fledgling Focus on the Family. The good old days!
Really, it's ironic that the '80s seems so much more innocent in comparison to the criminal cabal in charge of the government now. :-)
Meant to post sooner, but great show again guys.

Come on, you cannot have a conversation about the 80s without mentioning Culture Club, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Madonna (sans faux British accent), Cindi Lauper, Prince (Purple friggin' Rain), The Eurythmics, Rick Springfield...gasp!

Sure you can. We were just doing it.
Although I do love Cyndi Lauper. Time After Time is an amazing song. I love it.
And there's no article in front of Eurythmics.
I like some of their songs too. I just can't think of the name of the one I really like.
