Highlights from Show #0008:
Bob Moog died on August 22nd after a 4 month battle with brain cancer. Thanks to his genius, music's timbral landscape will never be the same. Why you ask? Because he is the man who brought analog synthesis to the masses.
After first designing large modular analog synths he eventually brought the world a synth called the Minimoog. Original copies of this axe are highly sought after. He recently released an updated version of the Minimoog with more functionality, and the addition of MIDI.
Here is a wonderful article I found on the man.
We're at it again with our zany antics and silliness. Except this time I fly solo:
The Fairfield Glassworks and Tape Dispensary sprung a leak. The studio bathroom was overflowing with water from an unknown source. One plumber and $400 later, the leak has been fixed. Now we just need to replace the water damaged flooring. Fun!
Does anyone hear dripping water?
Hmmmm, perhaps I'm just going crazy.

In the last post, John mentioned that the wine companies we mention are not paid sponsors. This is true. However, one of the goals we have here at BV is eventually to find ethical and agreeable businesses and patrons to sponsor our program. We haven't thought about how or where we'd put the ads when it happens, but we'll burn that bridge when we get to it.
You might have also noticed our Paypal button on the right side of our blog. If you're feeling generous, you know what to do.
One listener suggested that we list the vintage, and variety of the wines we sample during our recording sessions. Great idea! So, from this day forward I'll be including info on the wines as well as linking to the producer's web site (if available). I've also gone back and updated our past show notes with this info.
As a reminder, these are not paid sponsors (we wish). They're just products we thoroughly enjoy or that we have picked up in our travels.
Veggies, Back in Action:
Yes, we want to SEE you. Imagine that.
Podcasting enables individuals to get their ideas out to small, targeted audiences. But, we don't want it to be a one-way conversation. We truly want to use this medium, along with our blog, to build a community.
Print out our silly BV logo and take a picture in your house, on your boat, on a mountaintop, dancing, in a yurt, milking a goat, planting beans, standing on your head, smiling...
Mail them to feedback@bloodyveg.com and as the pictures roll in we'll put them in a Listener Gallery for all to admire.
