OK, not really. But if all things happen according to plan, I will be in a van down by the river tomorrow evening, with John, taping our first show. I'm a little bit excited! I'm also a bit nervous... this is like performing in front of people and that always scared me.

Nah. You're just having a conversation with me. We have no listeners yet. Oh, and now we can have the conversation in front of a big pumpkin-colored wall.

I think pumpkin has a wonderful flavor.

Actually I've hidden a microphone and I'll be streaming your recording session live to thousands of raw radio fetishists. Oh, and I've secretly replaced your regular coffee with Folgers Crystals.
BTW: Would that be Barking Pumpkin on the studio walls?

There's little need for a mic in our session since we'll be releasing the recording once I spruce it up with a little Rosemary and Thyme.
John, we need a name for our recording studio. Frank Zappa had the "Utility Muffin Research Kitchen." We need a cool name also.

Based on one of your comments about the room...
The Fairfield Studios and Tape Dispensary.

It's almost too obvious. Frank's name doesn't imply "studio" in any way.
How about:
"Fairfield Glassworks and Tape Dispensary"?

Fairfield Acoustic Infirmary?

There's a real story behind the name we chose (Fairfield Glassworks and Tape Dispensary).
When I was at John's recording his voice for our intro/outro stuff, I needed tape (scotch, electrical, masking) for something. Probably to tape something together.
In this room, which is also his stained glass studio, he has a nice selection of tape(s). Hence, "Fairfield Glassworks and Tape Dispensary"
I even used the studio name on the air last night.
