I'm wicked stoked right now. I went up to the recording studio where I work and finally grabbed those PL-10 microphones. I just now managed to find the time to wire up the whole recording rig and give it a dry run, and it sounds SLAMMIN. Despite all of my fears, the compressor works fine. When it actually has signal going into it the meters work perfectly. Go figure. There is literally only one piece of the puzzle missing. When I ordered pop filters they only had one in stock, and I should have the second one by next weekend.
