Uh, guys, I know you're new at this, but the "comments" thing is for us, the listening public. Aren't you, like, in a room together or something?
(Haven't actually heard the show yet - figured I'd give you some grief while waiting for it to download.)

Hola Soyjoy!
Yes, we're in a room together in the Fairfield Glassworks and Tape Dispensary when we record, except when we're not.
Right now for example we're about an hour apart.
Yes, comments are real comments from listeners read on the air, and then WE get to comment. :-)
Thanks for stopping by, please come again and continue to listen. Hopefully we don't suck.

I'm sorry Soyjoy. When you said "comments" I thought you meant the viewer feedback we get. You meant the comments on the blog.
Yeah, they're for you. But sometimes we use them to comment to one another. :-)

For instance, I'm commenting on the comments that Rich is commenting on. In Rich's last comment, he even made a comment to himself. Isn't technology wonderful when it helps us get in touch with ourselves? No, we're not in the same room at all times (yikes - I had to shake the image of Gilligan and the Skipper in hammocks).
But seriously, we may add a discusion forum to the list of our media outlets. Rich wants me to focus on constructing the moon-based laser, but I need more time.

What does that mean?

We're nationwide, baby. We've got the blog, the podcast and eventually we can even have a separate discussion forum where it's easier to post exchanges and threads. The blog commenting system is a bit limiting, eh? But, perhaps the laser will come first. Of course, if there really isn't much demand for it it won't happen. We'll let the listeners (ooops, I almost said viewers) decide!

That's why I was so in favor of something like drupal. It can handle the normal blogging requirements, and handle a more sophisticated message base type of thing.

Anonymous... I hear ya, but believe me, this is much better than Rich replying to the comments left by the voices in his head.
John... loved the baby tossing quip!
Really good show again guys. It's wonderful to hear home grown muscial talent too (even if that home happens to 3,000 miles away).

Umm, good to hear *musical* talent too.

Wow... thanks for reminding me about how much I miss those half-moon cookies. I hope the next show doesn't have a Manny's or Oscunizzio (sp?) reference or I may have to come home for Christmas.
Greetings from hot and humid NC!
