The last synchronous death that struck me as odd was Jim Henson and Sammy Davis Jr. They both died on May 16, 1990. This has nothing to do with anything, but I learned this while working an overnight shift as a security guard at an insurance company (a part time job in college) and in my sleep-deprived state thought that Sammy was one of Jim's muppets. It made total sense. When Jim died, Sammy HAD to die.
